The "Good Eating" Stage celebrates the intersection of food and literature with a variety of cooking demonstrations and author discussions. Listed below are some of the authors and chefs that are scheduled to appear on the "Good Eating" stage during this year's Lit Fest.

Food Network star Daisy Martinez will emcee the "Good Eating" stage
Janine MacLachlan will discuss her travel and photography book "Farmers' Markets of the Heartland"

HGTV's Monica Pedersen will share design tips from her new book, "Make It Beautiful," during an interview with Jan Parr, author of "Chicago Spaces"
Bill Daley will host a conversation with Josh Schonwald, author of "The Taste of Tomorrow," and Barb Stuckey,, author of "Taste What You're Missing."
Cooking demo with Sarah Stegner of Prairie Grass Café
Cooking demo with Rick Bayless, author of "Fiesta at Rick's"
Cooking demo with Elena Marre and students from The Kids' Table

"Get Lit"? Really? What, are they making hash brownies?

No schedule of times yet, but Stegner, Cosentino, Bayless, Virant, Singla, are on my list. However, I seldom end up seeing more than one or two... but at least I've got goals.
What is patriotism, but the love of good things we ate in our childhood?
