Post #1 - June 12th, 2012, 8:36 pmThings are lacking in the neighborhood, so looking for some recs. I'm thinking something like Uncommon Ground (which I've been to) or HB Restaurant (which I haven't). Open for any suggestions.

Post #4 - June 12th, 2012, 9:31 pmTapas Gitana is right there and it's pretty decent (nice back patio too) . . . not that far from TAC Quick either, although it's probably a drive (close to a 10 or so minute walk)

If you're implying that bringing alcohol with you on your bike is an issue, there is a liquor store a couple doors down from Tac.
Toons isn't far either.

You haven't noticed that a 16 oz bottle of Hefeweizen fits perfectly into a standard bike water cage?

Post #10 - June 13th, 2012, 9:34 pmI love Socca which is on Clark about a half mile south. Nice fusion of Italian and French cuisine. They have a great menu, nice space, friendly service, tasty food and reasonably priced. Hearty is another good restaurant in walking distance (east on Halsted). Deleece (west on Southport) is a nice option as well.Twitter: @Goof_2
