Does anyone know of a source (preferably in the city -- closer to Lincoln Square the better) for gelatin sheets? Thanks in advance for the help.

BR - You can get gelatin sheets from Chicago Game, but you have to buy a large box (400).

Thanks . . . I know of Chicago Game . . . my former source for foie gras. You don't know how long they keep for, do you?

If the sheets are kept dry they should last indefinitely.

To date, I have only used powder, but I understand that the sheets are purer and do not import any "off" flavors, whereas the powder does. So I figured it's time to give it a try.

Thank you . . . I also understand Fox & Obel might have them too in less than commercial volumes. That might be my first stop.
