I'm desperately searching for a post- SF City Hall wedding lunch venue for next week. It's been hard to find good places that are serving at 3 pm -- I called Zuni Cafe and Cafe Claude which are open but neither can accommodate a table for 15. Chez Panisse in Berkeley won't take a large table either.

I was initially trying to avoid a hotel restaurant but if it's decent with nice atmosphere, I'm willing to go that route but not sure where to start. thanks to anyone who might have ideas.

Kokkari is open for lunch Monday thru Friday till 2:30. It's upscale Greek and serves fantastic food. Nothing like it in Chicago. It's my favorite restaurant in SF right now. Boulevard is open till 2. La Mar has wonderful Peruvian and serves till 2:30. Town Hall is also open till 2:30. I don't know if this helps as it may be too early. Tough to find all day dining.

Slanted Door is open serving an afternoon tea and Osha Thai at Embarcadero is as well. Both have always been helpful when I've had groups foe meals during big meetings so I would guess they'd take good care of you.

Maybe you could use opentable.com to see what's open at 3, then post here to get feedback on the various places.

thanks everyone. We have options at

    1. Bluestem
    2. Le Central Bistro
    3. Wayfare Tavern.

Wayfare looks a bit dark, think we're leaning towards Bluestem mostly because it's closest to City Hall and people can just walk there after wedding. If anyone is familiar with any of these restaurants, some feedback would be great!
