    with patty's closed, and Pat's place closed, can anybody recommend someplace to have breeakfast in western Skokie, or something just west of skokie? honestly its for a breakfast meeting, so it doesn't have to be great

    I'd leave a little extra time for Annie's - service tends to be a bit slow during peak hours.

    I'll second this one. The breakfast "#1 club" is a "stick to the ribs" kind of breakfast, and a real value. Bacon, sausage, pancakes, and 2 eggs, with a side of fruit juice, all for under $8.00.

    I still miss the ham hash at Patty's.

    Kappy's makes a fine breakfast—and I like that there's some unconventional things on there—but they're overpriced in my book.

    I would also suggest Sanders - Just west of Jacks on Touhy
