Jumping on a plane in a couple of hours headed to San Pedro Sula for a quick overnight work trip. This was unplanned, I only learned about it a few hours ago. With that said I haven't had time to do much research and was looking for a few tips for lunch and dinner options in town. Money really isn't an option as work will be footing the bill. I would like to eat where the locals eat assuming that they aren't MS 13 gang members.

Thanks in advance for any tips you can provide...

I'd be VERY careful if I was you. I did some reading up about the MS-13 and they seem like a really wily bunch. I wouldn't rule out the possibility of running into one of these murderous clowns in a local restaurante.

But there is a much more intrecit form called "stacking".Stacking is how they spell who is in their gang with their hands. This how they tell other gang members what gang their from and who is in their clique. But it also could mean much more than that. When there gonna fight they pretend their gonna take there shirt off to signify other ms 13 members. When there gonna stab they'll brush their shoulders off .When there gonna shoot they'll rub their belly. MS 13 GANG is always morphing and changing its very likely they use different gang signs for these actions now. This video below explains the MS 13 GANG SIGNS . This video is in french because of copyright laws but does give some insight to what the gangs signs mean.

Avoid belly-rubbing, or you might get shot. I would just stay at the hotel, order room service, and catch up on the Delta Force series.

Thought I would bump this thread and see if anyone has any recent experiences in (on?) Roatan, we have a trip planned there in early September, thanks!

A place we really enjoyed on Roatan, the Blue Parrot (a terrific Jamaican shack on the side of a rural road), just posted this on their Facebook wall. I have no doubt it is true.
