    Long story short.

Boy likes girl. :D Boy is planning on wining and dining girl at the tony bennett concert tonight at ravinia. I planned on bringing fruit, drinks and wanted to bring some great dishes for us to snack on. I had planned to go to trotters to go because I loved the quality and variety but unfortunetly I just found out they are closed. Where else can I go? Like many of you, I am willing to travel for that one great must have dish. Hopefully a place in the city, money really isn't an issue. I want the food to be as good as the company. Help me knock this girls socks off. Thanks

    City Provisions.

They have a selection of sandwiches and sides, a well curated selection of craft beers and wines including their own collaboration beers, pre-prepped Ravinia Baskets (pricey, but you said money != object), and they're walking distance to the Ravenswood Metra Stop, which will take you right to Ravinia.

What kind of food does she like? You don't necessarily need a store like Trotters to go--you can pick up food to go almost anywhere.
Having said that, if you're looking for upscale picnic fare, I agree with the recommendation for City Provisions (1818 West Wilson Avenue) and would also add Publican Quality Meats (825 West Fulton Market) or Provenance (LOGAN SQUARE 2528 N. California Ave/ LINCOLN SQUARE 2312 W. Leland Ave).

Add Pastoral to the list, and you've got a pretty complete list of suggestions.
