    For those of you that have had this dish from past Salam glories, it's wonderful. Ran into Albert the waiter last wk (who is back working there), told him how I missed that dish and he has made it happen. If you'd like to join me for lunch tomorow even better, as I'd hate for him/them to go to all the trouble and not sell a few orders. Trying to get them to put it back in their regular rotation.

    I wonder how high the price of falafel has spiked in the year or so since I've been there. I think they were up to .20/each last time I visited.

    They're $0.35 each these days, which is still a steal as far as I'm concerned.

    to those that attended today, do you think there will be more Lamb Dolmas avail this evening or tomorrow?

    I think a phone call would be in order before you go. I got the impression that they made a batch just for us, so I'm not sure how much extra there might or might not have been. I'll also add that the actual daily special of an okra stew served with a lamb shank was pretty good, too.

    The okra and lamb shank was outstanding. Between that and the lamb dolmas I know I'll be back wirth some friends in tow.
    It was nice to see (and meet) you all!
    I'm snacking on some lemony/peppery hummus (I can't remember the name of) and pita right now!
