    September 29 at 2:00 pm: Mid Autumn Festival with traditional Chinese music, moon cakes with tea and roast pork. Members: $8, Non-members: $10 – Reservations required. Please call (312) 949 1000 or email office@ccamuseum.org to reserve your place!

    Come celebrate the Mid Autumn Festival at the Museum with a delightful concert of traditional Chinese music with a mix of different instruments: the pipa, guzheng, erhu, yuan, electric keyboard and viola. Experience the sights and sounds of these Chinese instruments, along with a string instrument from a traditional orchestra. Cheer them on as they show you the different characteristic sounds of each instrument, while learning the history and story of the origins of the Mid Autumn Festival
