Oh, sorry, I put all the necessaries in the very first post. It's 4035 Main St.

Just tested out Dr. McGillicudy's Root Beer and Always Ask for Avery's Swamp Juice. Guess which one I liked better? (See first post, bold)

Two more root beers added up there: OOgave and Olde Brooklyn. More to come!

Has anyone seen Reed's Spiced Apple Cider for sale anywhere in Chicago or the burbs?

I bet America's Market has it (Wheeling). You may want to try Schaefer's too (Skokie). I may have even seen it at the Jewel in Niles (Touhy) but I can't be sure.

I dislike soda, but found one I actually enjoyed at Pastoral. Can't recall the brand, but it was a fancy-Dan kind in a glass bottle, in "Dry Meyer Lemon" flavor. This was the lemon drink of my dreams. It actually tasted of lemon without being too sweet. A+++++++++

Not at Schaefer's, Binny's, Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, Dominick's, Jewel, Treasure Island, Fox & Obel, or Pastoral. America's Market only has 8 bottles. Looks like the best bet is to order on the Reed's website: http://www.reedsgingerbrew.com/ReedsCar ... =15&page=1

I finally got to taste Lemmy! And also, Blast has a great picture on their website. Too bad their pop is has the sugar content of cotton candy.

LAZ, when we meet up again, remind me to learn cherry soda tips from you.
I use the cherry concentrate that advertises on the radio to help you sleep - montmorenci?
Toy's in sheboygan and Rhino in Milwaukee also sell syrups.

For the Sprecher soda lovers, they sell the syrup. They do request that you call ahead of time for pickup sine it is stocked in the back of the place and is a walk during peak times.

Isn't Blast by Colt malt liquor? Or do they have an NA soda version?

It is indeed malt liquor. I put it here because it tastes like punch you'd get at a child's birthday, it just happens to get you drunk. Which is really what needs to be served at childrens' birthdays.

It's fizzy; it really is pop with booze, but I created a new category so it makes more sense to have it here.

What do you think about Malta Goya? It tastes like very strong malted caramel to me. Made a good ice cream float, with about twice as much ice ceam as usual. And their ginger beer is really, really strong.

I'm not sure I ever had that. I have some very light salted caramel gelato in the freezer, so I may have to make a float with that.
