Hi- Apparently he has not sold any of these yet, even though he says that they are available. It sounds like a publicity stunt to get get people to his food truck, so he can sell them a $6.66 hamburger.

Are people actually buying the Douche Burger?

Oh, absolutely not. There are pictures online of one man named Lance Brody eating one. He was the only one who paid us for it. It’s the great marketing ploy to use for us. Our regular burger cost $6.66, so people come to our truck because we offer the douche burger, but then they buy our regular $6.66 burger. That was the end goal.

But, take my advice do not google Lance Brody and have the "images" setting on..... NSFW

Go to Square Bar & Grill in Logan Square and get a truly delicious, less douche-y version for $13: 8oz. Kobe beef char-grilled and topped with brie cheese 4oz. lobster tail and roasted garlic sauce on brioche bun. I had it without the prosciutto (I'm on a diet) and it was fantastic.
