Pinched Mediterranean Grill - Lombard, IL

Just returned from another great lunch at Pinched Mediterranean Grill in Lombard. Since this place opened in January of this year it's become one of usual places for lunch and has consistently delivered an excellent meal. The set up is similar to Chipotle in that you choose first whether you want a pita, salad, or platter, then you choose the meat, then the toppings, and then the sauce. The meat choices include chicken shawarma, chicken kebab, beef chevaps, spicy bacon beef chevaps, and falafel. Sides include hummus, Med. salad, tabouli, and more. The sauces are a choice between tzatziki, garlic, tahini, and a green schug. I personally always go for the chicken shawarma with the schug and have not yet been disappointed. They have the vertical spit that they cook the chicken shawarma on and then slice it to order and finish it on the griddle. My only complaint is that they can be a little stingy with the sauces. I wouldn't exactly call it a destination, but if you're ever in the area I highly recommend it.
