Where can you get raw spanish peanuts?

Hi- My friend Joan, who attended the picnic with me, told me on the way home, that she used to buy war spanish peanuts at the Jewel on Chicago avenue in Evanston, and they quit carrying them. I asked her if she has checked Whole Foods in Evanston, and she said she has, and they don't carry them either.

My friend does not have a car, so anywhere in the Evanston vacinity would be appreciated. Caputo's would not work. Has anybody seen them around in Evanston, Skokie or Rogers Park neighborhood. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Nancy

I believe Fresh Farms (Niles) has 'em in bags under the apple stand.

Try the shops on Devon. I use to get raw peanuts there a few years ago. They also have some of the best vegtables in the area and very inexpencive.
