We have a bumper crop from the garden. We love them, but we aren't going to get through them all fast enough. (So few Rosh Hashanah recipes use them.)
What would be the best thing to do to preserve them for future use?

    Pickle 'em!

Soooo good on nachos, my mouth is watering remembering my last batch...

Or invite some friends over and make a mess of those bacon-wrapped jalapeno poppers?

Freeze 'em whole and then bag 'em.
Coming to you from Leiper's Fork, TN where we prefer forking to spooning.

Yep. Freeze 'em. Or dehydrate them and use the pepper flakes. Or just chop them into little pieces, salt them generously, put 'em in an open jar, and let them ferment. I do all of these to my surplus pepper crop.

We made something similar over Labor Day weekend when we entertained 15 for the weekend. Our group drinks A LOT of beer, when the poppers were added to the mix, beer consumption went up even more. :D THEY WERE TERRIFIC!
I did absolutely nothing and it was everything I thought it could be.

I am a big fan of powdered jalapeno in chili.

Chop them up and freeze them in Ziploc baggies. Easy to just snap off a chunk.
