Post #2 - September 18th, 2012, 2:55 pmI'm in. I recommended it because Matt can walk there. It is a deli that is run by a company that imports food from Italy. It reminds me a bit of Bacio's. They have good sandwiches (an excellent italian beef) and is a very good value. They also have various daily hot dishes available, i.e. chicken piccata or eggplant parm.

Hot and cold sandwiches (e.g. italian sausage, prosciutto, respectively), pastas and hot dishes (eggplant parm appears on the sandwich list too), a decent array of drinks by the bottle/can (including pellegrino arancina).What is patriotism, but the love of good things we ate in our childhood?

This place is in west Lake Forest in the middle of an industrial park, near several horse farms and north of Costco. I would not have casually bumped into it. My thanks to Will G for noting their ad in a local newspaper.
