    Hi guys --

Had a big success at work and my boss wants to take me out for dinner. I'd like someplace that is firmly average on the "fancy scale" -- not Burger King, but certainly not Alinea (I know, no real help here). He lives in Romeoville and we work in Lemont/Darien, so somewhere around this area would be good. I realize this gives you very little to go on, but if you've got recommendations I'd love to hear from you. Thanks!

I know nothing about the area but we have friends in Lemont who really like La Dolce Vita.

I know nothing about the area either, but how close is Vie in Western Springs?

Harry Caray's or Ditka's, on Butterfield in Lombard and 22nd street in Oak Brook respectively might both fit the bill for a not-fancy celebratory meal.
