I need a hint about where this is. I tried searching for it before in Microsoft Streets & Trips and with Google Maps, and had no success with either. Is this north or south of Deerfield Parkway, and is it on the east or west side of Milwaukee?

It's about a half-block north of Deerfield Rd, south of Busch Pkwy. It's at the north end of the strip mall north of the Panera, right here

I've had one of their soups once (I can't remember which one, but it was excellent), and not long ago I had their Kung Pao Chicken lunch special. The Kung Pao wasn't anything to write home about, except that when I asked for very spicy, I actually got it very spicy.

    Hi,

This place has its roots in Seven Treasures in Chicago's Chinatown, the owner is the Father-in-law of Wonton Express's owner.. There I still to their soups, BBQ and beef chow fun. Whenever I went beyond these, I was always disappointed.

    Regards,
    Cathy2

I was hoping to join you at Wonton Express, but the date change to 11/29 conflicts with the Evanston Lunch Group's monthly gathering--and I have to be true to my school....

Really lovely lunch in good company. Pleased to have finally had the soup noodles that Cathy2 described some time back. Agree with her and Helen that the shrimp dumplings are dandy -- and the beef chow fun (extra crispy) was most excellent. Of course, hanging out with LTHers is always fun.

    Thanks for arranging this, Dave148.
