here's the latest on this wednesday's lunch at the bakery. there's room for 15 people, so please sign up here if you plan to come. angelo's offering some customer favorites for our lunch. and their pizza freezes beautifully so you might want to stock up if you don't get here often (and remember, they'll be closing the end of december). for those who haven't been here before, street parking is easy, particularly on the west side of western. thanks! (lemoneater , can you make a 1pm lunch? dave148- are you in?)

Sorry, I have an appointment that day, so unfortunately I'll have to miss this one.

the bakery is asking me for a head count by 4 this afternoon. i think there are a couple of more LTH'ers who've expressed interest in coming. if you can respond here this afternoon, it'd be much appreciated. (dave148- i'm counting you in for the sake of the head count). pairs4life- i've put you on the list, just making sure you're planning to come. we have a tentative head count of 10, with room for 5 more. thanks everybody! we're in for a delicious lunch tomorrow, i'm sure. joan

When you call, please ask them to have some pizza bread for takeaway?
    I'd get 6 pieces.

not a problem. the bakery says they're making enough food for 15. so there's still room for more to come. the 4pm deadline has been lifted.

It was a very nice lunch and, although I plan to be back at least once before the final closing, it was a nice send off. If my car hadn't gotten totalled on the way back to the office (I'm OK, thanks for asking), it would have been a perfect lunch.

i'd like to thank the saccameno's for filling us up with such delicious food. the assorted pizzas, the pulled pork and the prime rib with creamy horseradish sauce were all wonderful, but the fried corn/garlic/butter was a new dish to me, and one i'll dream about.... it's roasted red pepper pizza for me for dinner tonight. thanks to everyone who came out for lunch.. it's always good to meet LTH'ers for the first time and to see familiar faces .

steve: i'm so sorry to hear about your car accident. i'm glad only your car was damaged; i can see how totalling your car would overshadow even the best meal.....

Thanks to Joan for organizing and the Saccameno's for providing such tasty fare. The corn was truly transcendent and I was happy to gouge myself on the beef w/ horseradish sauce. "Twas nice to catch up with familiar LTHers and meet a few new folks. Thanks again to all attendees.

Oh man. Just paid a visit to ISB when I read a notice that they posted saying they are closing permanently January 1, 2013. They are encouraging everyone to place their last orders for bread if you want to freeze it for future fixes.
