    Looking forward to it!

    Hi,

I found you on the list, it was just an oversight.

If anyone else paid and don;t see their name, please advise either on the thread or PM me.

For the non-meat eaters, Zaragoza will experiment in making tamales without animal fat in the masa. If it does not work out to their satisfaction, then they may offer enchiladas instead.

Tamale masa does have animal fat. They will experiment using something else for the non-meat eaters. One way or another, we will make this work!

Fantastic - in for two! Mr. lemoneater is a strict veg, so he will appreciate the special squash dish and other goodies. FYI, my mom, AKA tamale queen, has figured out a way of using olive oil for the masa (plus extra chile ancho, so they look a little spraytanned  )

    Hi,

There are a baker's dozen seats left, please make your final reservations.

The cheese and pepper tamales will be made with a non-animal shortening.

If you want want to participate in the gift exchange raffle, you need to bring an unwrapped gift:

Gift Exchange. If you want, please bring a food-related raffle item. For the raffle/gift exchange, all gifts go into a pool and names are drawn. Please bring gifts that others would be happy to receive. If you do bring a gift, you get a ticket and are guaranteed one gift in exchange. We’ve set the price for each gift around $15. Please don't wrap the gift -- we like to see what people are winning before they win it -- but please do put your name (real name or screen name or both) on the gift so that lucky winners know who to thank.
