    Spinach, Feta & Red Onion Infused Turkey Burger, dressed on a thin whole-wheat pita with Tzatziki, Red Onion, Tomato and Cukes.

    Potato Salad.

    Whole wheat pita from Al Khayyam, filled with slices of aged cheddar & fresh tomato & some mixed olives on the side.

    nice, that's where my pita is from too. Do you go for the thick or the thin?

    The thick - I pulled one from the bags I keep of it in the freezer & I find the thin tends to dry out a little when you do that, so thin's a weekend treat only when I'm able to stop by the bakery.

    Oil cured olives - Palestine
    Dried, salted sheep's milk cheese - Jordan
    Avocado - Costco?
    Bread - Eastern Breadstone on Devon
    Tea - Al Waza with dried, wild mint from Palestine.

    Last night...tilapia from Burhop's, poached in a sauce made from Carmelina brand imported canned diced tomatoes (best I've found), Calamata olives, capers, slivered red onion, garlic, cayenne, Toasted Head chardonnay & flat parsley from my garden...all over Bella Terra whole wheat capellini. My actual head got a little toasted from a half-bottle of the chardonnay I drank with the meal after I used some in the sauce.

    An egg and cheese sandwich with avocado, tomato, and fancy mushrooms. Next up is the last of my homemade cherry crumble with vanilla ice cream.

    Organic, plain, low-fat yogurt with cranberry & pecan granola. Side dish=banana

    While tasty...dieting suxs.

    Fresh tabouli and pita chips from one of my favorite stores for falafel sandwiches, we are dry in this part of the city. Nice people too, free sample abound.

    The sweet-salty thing really makes it work (sweet from the doughnut, salty from the bacon). Gus might do it again in six months or so. In the meantime, I really like the GWiv quote:
