O'Cha is now "soft" open, has been for a few days, and is BYO. They were pretty full last night, which kind of caught them off guard. It's very new, so they are still learning how things will go for them. They officially open this weekend. There were some kinks, so they were taking % off the bill and giving out free appetizers. I expect things will run more smoothly as they get their rhythm.
The food is very fresh tasting. The menu is pretty standard Ameri-thai, but everything tastes good. It is a mom and pop place, mom teaches math and moonlights at the restaurant, dad was in IT but will be running the restaurant (and their toddler was home in bed). They have an uncle who has a restaurant (didn't find out which one) where they have been working to learn how to run their own.
I'd like them to add art or something to the walls, it's quite spare and modern inside. And the seats by the door were being blasted by arctic air, but it was warm back by the kitchen.
Everyone we encountered was really nice, we are happy they are in the 'hood, and will definitely go back. Plus takeout!

but it CHANGES THE WORLD for that one dog.
