Post #8 - September 13th, 2014, 4:17 pmI recently moved to Evanston, and am starting to explore the food options, and stopped by here last night. I walked in and the chairs were all arranged around the sides, and Badou told me they were having a private event, but he'd be glad to make me an order to go. I asked what he recommended (being new to Senegalese food), and he said everything, and then whipped me up an order of black-eyed peas, rice and collard greens with smoked pork. It was delicious, however, for $12, I hoped for a little more meat. I'll be back.
