But can we blame Chicagoans for thinking so, when they're so ill-informed?
This seemed like the thread for this "news." According to this Eater article posted today,
Grubhub Expanding Delivery To Hyde Park & Suburbs:
"But what about the suburbs? Grubhub is now showering some attention to towns outside the city including Evanston, Northfield, Park Ridge and Oak Park, as the delivery company announced an expansion of its services ... Is this a game changer for suburban residents? ... Here's the more details on the coverage areas. Schaumburg and Naperville service will be added in the next week, and other towns including Skokie, Glenview, Northbrook, Des Plaines, Wilmette, Winnetka, Niles and Lincolnwood or covered."I am mystified by this news. Up here in leafy green Mundelein, smack dab in the middle of Lake County, we've been ordering via GrubHub for years. Granted, we don't have a whole lot of options, about 20 for delivery and 40 for pickup, but despite what Eater thinks, we're not GrubHubless.
