There was a ton of Cuisinart stainless cookware in the Wheaton TJ Maxx today. The store was packed to the gills with kitchen and home items. I was surprised it was not picked clean at holiday time but it looks like it was not. They also had other cookware and bakeware too. Wolfgang Puck stainless, and Caphalon. I did not look closely at everything so I did not notice any all clad but it could have been there. I got some saffron and Himalayan pink sel. This store is not one of the biggest but it is well stocked with expensive goods. There is also a Home Goods a few stores down so if anyone is looking for a shopping day and can not seem to find them near where they live take a ride out to Wheaton for some shopping. You can have dinner at any number of places too like Austin BBQ, Sushimono, burger joints, such as five guys and smashburger or Naf Naf which is near by. If anyone needs directions let me know. (We also have a Whole foods there, Stein mart and Charming Charlies)

Remember that TJ Maxx, Marshall's and Home Goods are "never the same store twice. That is, you can get some really phenomenal deals on cookware THIS week and see nothing you like for several months. It is a complete crap shoot but the bargains can be phenomenal.

Also, if you see something you like, you may be able to complete the set at another one of the local stores.

yes that is true you can drive up to the one on Army Trail or go to Naperville to see if they have it. Some may be buying just a piece or two and not the whole set but they certainly had a lot there now. In a few days who knows.

The Chow Poodle recently picked up an All Clad 12" skillet at Homegoods for some ridiculously low price (approx $50). I compared it to the identical All Clad skillet for which I paid full price several years ago and, other than a slight change in the handle, it's identical in physical appearance and heft. There ARE some deals to be had in those stores if you look.
