    I worked for some Persians in LA that used to give me a briefcase full of saffron a month. Just seemed odd.

    PQM ha salso has some in the back cooler from Rare Tea Cellar. I get all of mine from Chefs Diamond bulk but these seemed priced well for retail.

    I dated a Persian guy who lived in LA. I loved it when he'd come back from visits to family in Tehran with an ounce of saffron and half-pound of caviar. D*mn...I miss those days!
