The good news - I have a new client in Cary. :D
The bad news - I have to schlep out to Cary weekly for the next several weeks. 8)

My appointments are usually around 1:00. I usually have time for lunch before my appointment. In my last few attempts I've struck out in finding a decent lunch option. I'll even settle for a decent hot dog or burger joint.

I usually head up there from either Lake Cook or 22 along Northwest Highway. Come on guys, help me out here. Thanks in advance.

Tracks definitely has a really tasty burger, so I would second that option. Plenty if you venture a little further up 14 towards CL...but more in the fast food realm.

The burrito place is alright...Kojak's is decent hot dog joint right next door. Onion Pub is typical bar/brewery fare.

By a coincidence, I hit Kojak's on my last journey out there. There were two police cars in the lot. How bad could it be? Let's just say I won't be going back there any time soon. :D

Just found out I'm heading out that way on Thursday. I'll aim for Tracks. Thanks.

I've found Tacos el Norte to be a decent mini-chain. I haven't been to the one in Lake Zurich, but at least that would be sort of on your way to Cary.

Also in Lake Zurich is a pretty good Polish place called Ania's.

Yes you can and I did today. Thanks Alek!

I had the Parmesan Burger. It was cooked to medium rare as requested. Nice hefty dose of cheese and garlic butter. A bit skimpy on the scallions. Served on a pretzel bun. I chose the house made chips which were quite good and not salty.

Nice bathrooms and waitstaff. Just a heads up - most of the indoor seating is on bar stools and high top tables. Though I did see some traditional tables and seats out in the beer garden.

I have to be in Cary tomorrow at 11:00 for a meeting and now thanks to LTH I know where I'll be having lunch (The Tracks).
    Thanks!
If I remember I'll try to take some pics and post a follow up...

I had lunch today at The Tracks

It's a nice little bar, not much interesting on tap though

    I ordered a classic cheeseburger

I asked for it medium and I think they nailed it

These house made chips are really great

I got a Stella on tap and the bill came to about $13. Not cheap but not absurd.
Everyone in the place was really friendly and the staff couldn't have been nicer.
If I find myself in Cary again I know where I'm having lunch
