    NEW DATE - 1/29

The LTH North Lunch Group has decided to take a break from Milwaukee Ave for a bit. In fact, we're starting off the new year by dining in Cook County.

Please join us on the 29th at:

    Stormy's Tavern & Grille
    1735 Orchard Lane
    Northfield IL 60093
    (847) 441-8290

Perhaps some of our Cook County Brethren can join us for this one. As always - bring a friend.

    Hi,

I plan to attend and very likely Helen will, too. Just put us both down.

    Thanks!

    Regards,

My assistant somehow thinks I can be in two places at the same time on Thursday. 8) It was easier to reschedule lunch than this particular client. Thanks for your understanding.

Tom Skilling says tomorrow's going to be a balmy 59 degrees. A great day for reuben sandwiches and tots. Please join us.

The way work is going today (not fast enough), I'd better not go tomorrow. I look forward to finding out what place you pick next.

If a person who actually lives in the city is welcome, it looks like I would be able to join you today.

I suspect the Northfield cops might want you to park around the corner. 8)

    Hi,

Dave - thanks for organizing today, as always.

I enjoyed my Ruben actually grilled with Thousand Island already spread on the bread. I really dislike dressing on the side for this sandwich. Enjoyed my coleslaw, though tater tots were the overwhelming favored side at this this lunch.

On the drive back, Helen commented Steve Z's pot roast sandwich looked good. We may be back soon to try it and those tater tots.

Again, thanks to everyone for making it a fun lunch.

    Regards,
    Cathy2

The pot roast sandwich was good, although it was just a bit over cheesed. Next time, I'd tell them to go easy on the cheese or maybe even request the sandwich sans cheese entirely.

    I was also eyeballing Steve's sandwich. 8)

My reuben + tots made for an excellent combination.

Again - good food and better company. The LTH North Lunch Group motto. Thanks again to the Cook County Breatheren for making the trek up north.

I shall begin to do a study for the February event. Please stay tuned.
