In the process of making no-knead bread I put the dough in the oven overnight, thinking it would be a bit warmer than leaving it out b/c our old house is really cold. Today at lunch, I was making kale chips, and forgot about the dough until the oven reached 180 degrees F. The plastic shrank to the sides, and it didn't look like it touched the dough, since it is in a large metal bowl, but my question is is it safe to proceed with the bread or did any toxic chemicals leach into the dough? I am neurotic about plastic, and am inclined to toss it, but wanted to get some opinions on the matter.
Thanks, LO
