Made baked doughnuts with the recipe from Ina Garten. Pretty darn good. 6 Cinnamon & 6 Choc. frosted.
Used Nestles Choc. Chips for frosting. Need some help in the frosting taste WITHOUT a ton of sugar.
    Any suggestions?????????????
    Thanks

First, I'd suggest switching from chips to bars - the bars will melt cleaner. Also, consider using bittersweet chocolate or even semisweet and just be very judicious about the amount of sugar you add (you can always add a little more sugar if it's not sweet enough).

In general, I second this advice. The better the chocolate, the better the icing and chips are pretty much the worst. However, if the Garten recipe calls for chips, higher quality chocolate might not behave the same since chips usually have various additives to keep them from completely melting.
