Info edited and updated for 2015.
My temple is hosting a really nice event -a Women's Seder, which is open to all interested Women next month.
The cost is a very reasonable $36, and the evening should be very fun and friendly.
I am on the committee, and happy to answer any questions.

    It is an opportunity to:
    celebrate together as women
learn about the women who made the Exodus happen and who continue to do so every day
enjoy a delicious meal and break bread (matzah) with old and new friends
We will use a special Haggadah created for and by the women of Solel in this spirited celebration

Every year there is a different topic for a Social Justice focus, so taking action and doing good is also a big part of the gathering.
In Hebrew it is called, "Tikkun Olam" or to repair the world.
This year I think we are focusing on those whose human rights are denied because they are not citizens.

    Details:
--Mothers, grandmothers, sisters, aunts and friends welcome
--Daughters in 5th grade or older are welcome to attend
--Charge: $36/person, or $360 to reserve a table of 10

    Hi,

If were not out of town this date, I would definitely attend.

    Thanks for alerting us!

You don't have to be Jewish to enjoy a seder- it's a great learning experience for those from the other side of the aisle!
It's the story of exodus, when the Jews left Egypt, and the red sea was parted.

Did you know that during a seder you are required (!) to drink 4 glasses of wine?

We have just picked out some very nice wines (included) for this dinner-
A chenin blanc and an Italian Rosso Tosca (soft and fruity, but not sweet)
of course there will be Manichewitz for those who swing THAT way...LOL
and juice for any who don't imbibe or want to switch 1/2 way thru.

This is a super fun event, and I will definitely be there.
If fact, I am charge of choosing the wine!
Let me know if you want to join me.
You don't have to bring a Passover friendly side dish, but if you want to, and you need help in determining what that is, I am happy to help. (Solel is not strictly kosher, but is kosher-style)
