I'll be in Steubenville OH for a week in June and this year didn't opt for the meal plan at the conference. I've searched around trying to lay out a few spots that would be thought of as "regional" that I should hit. But it's not looking too promising.

I am so not into fancy food, and will as likely carry out as eat in alone. I know there is a pizza style unique to that area and I'll certainly find some of that at least once.

No cuisine is off limits really.
D.G. Sullivan's, "we're a little bit Irish, and a whole lot of fun"!

It's a little bit of a drive, but, Pittsburgh is only about 20 miles away from Steubenville. There's a whole Pittsburgh Index here at LTH.

    Have a great trip!

In a board filled with reports from Turkey, China and Australia, not sure eastern Ohio is way out there.

Near the formative home of Dean Martin, you will find Pittsburgh's charms, with its own sticky in this forum, plus legendary Barberton Chicken up near Akron, hillbilly hot dogs in nearby West Virginia, and the odd Middle Eastern-Italian of New Castle PA. Simple searches will reveal all.
