    Hello,

I was looking for a good coffee house open late (until at least 11pm) within walking distance to Publican / G and G as we will be having dinner at Publican and then meeting friends who are having a later dinner at G & G, did I mention that we were going to start off with drinks at Violet Hour...yes will need some coffee after drinks and dinner with drinks...and then more drinks

    Any help is appreciated

The best in the area would be La Colombe, but they are only open until 7pm. Little Goat Bread is the only other I can think of nearby, but they close even earlier at 6pm. Maybe check if Little Goat Diner serves Little Goat Bread's coffee into the later hours? Seems reasonably likely.

Not sure what you consider walkable, but Iguana Cafe is reasonably close, reasonably good, and open late. I would consider it walkable, but my wife would likely beg to differ (although her shoes are frequently substantially less comfortable than mine). It is farther from G&G than it is from The Publican. Looks like it's open until 12:30 a.m. Sun through Thurs and until 2:00 a.m. Fri and Sat.

Unfortunately, I think your options for a "pure" coffee house are going to be somewhat constrained in that neighborhood at that time of day.

I will tell the Mrs to pack her roll up flats that go into the purse

greatest invention for women ever...quick shoe change prior to entering and the flats roll up into the purse

Walkable takes on a whole new meaning

something like this: http://www.konvine.com/roll-up-shoes.html <-- just buy her 10 pair for the next holiday, best gift for you and her ever

Order a french press after your meal at Publican before heading over to G&G for a nightcap.
