Back when Nice Cream (MIA? RIP?) had its Kickstarter for legal funds, my wife commissioned the world's best ice cream flavor of chocolate milk stout, shortbread and toffee.

Black Dog Gelato is coming to Chicago French Market this summer and, unlike their Ukrainian Village location (which begins summer hours on May 1), will stay open year-round, according to owner and executive chef Jessica Oloroso.
