Major disappointment. It is a festival with the usual craft booths that you see over the Midwest. The food options are minimal except between 12-3 pm in a tent.
Their major claim is that you can taste MOREL dishes from ten of the best restaurants in the area. You pay $2 to get into the tent and $3 for each sample.
All I can think of at this point is Clara Peller's old chant, "Where is the beef?"
The samples were tiny - $3 for a 1.5" squared slice of "pizza". We thought that it had morel on the top. No, that was a slice of black olive. The morels were "infused" in oil that was spread on the crust.
Another sample - the best of the lot was a taco with steak and morels ... but they were actually using button mushrooms.
Five minutes into the event, we realized we had been snookered.
We spent $25 and might have had the equivalent of 1/2 a morel mushroom.
It is NOT worth the effort.
