Post #1 - May 20th, 2013, 9:41 amSounds like we might have a few folks interested in playing our own LTH invention, Scrapple (Scrabble where food-related words earn extra points; we've played both competitively and just goofing off, so please don't be intimidated). We've done it in cafés but I'd also be willing to host here as well (the food will be cheaper and no need to tip!). We are in Norwood Park, a bit east of O'Hare.
So... if you'd like to Scrapple, subscribe to this thread and let us know what your preferred day/time and place are, and we'll get this going again!

Post #4 - June 2nd, 2013, 10:56 ami have little scrabble experience because i'm terrible at it and therefore don't like to play. i also find it annoying how good players memorize bizarre, little used words that give them huge points..... but i've got plenty of free time, so would love to play 'scrapple'. post what's good for you, mamagotcha, and i'll try to come. justjoan
