    Let's start a string on chili. i did an lth search and came up with mostly chinese food! As i said on bowl thread, i will try to talk J&C's into cooking its wunnerful chili again soon! is bishop's still around? is lindy's still good?

    Perhaps someone can post the link, but I believe a Cincinnati chili thread from several months back included a few recipes of both the Greek vs. and the Texas variety.

    Always been a fan of Bishop's, but I like my chili soupy.
    I order it "no beans" so it's thiner, but it's thin anyway.
    One store left, managing to maintain the "joint" ambience
    of the second joint at 18th & Damen (1st was across the
    street, or on the alley, or something), well because it is
    a joint. Read the menu, they got all sort of meal deals.

    I miss Bishop's Chili. I don't get to Westmont, so it's out of my territory now. I fondly remember eating in the 18th St. locations, for years - then on Roosevelt Rd. in Forest Park.
