cafe too

having not had a hot dog in ages, and on an off-and-on quest (so far in vain) for a good one in uptown, i headed down to jake's, on sheridan and montrose.

on the way, i passed cafe too, a new inspiration cafe restaurant. today was opening day. ever since construction began on this restaurant many moons ago, i've been looking forward to it opening. but for my jones for a dog, i'd have had lunch there. i did, however, pick up a lunch and dinner menu. both look great. lunch features soups, salads, and sandwiches, such as curry chicken, marinated steak, and panini, among others. dinner features appetizers, soups, salads, and entrees, including chicken roulade, catfish marsala, and teriyaki salmon, among others. i'm told that they also offer items during breakfast hours during the week (not sure about weekends).

cafe too's hours and days of operation are not standard, so check before you go.
