Anyone hear of a takeout bbq place in Northbrook called "The Babyback"? Any good? I heard from people at work the ribs were real good. Dundee and
    Pfingsten.

I grew up right near Babyback. It has been there for well over 20 years. I haven't lived in Northbrook since the superbowl shuffle but at that time, it was quite popular for the Sunday night takeout. They offer ribs and chicken that I thought was serviceable. But my ace in the hole there was their coles slaw. From what I remember, it is extremely sweet with a lot of white pepper and as creamy as any I've ever had anywhere. However, I think that most people would find it way too sweet for their liking.
The last time I tried Babyback was probably 7-ish years ago and I noticed no difference from the old days.

Boy, I could have almost exactly written this post. I liked the broasted chicken too btw.
