Before I commit to any particular dish, is there anyone that could loan me some grill space? I would need less than 15 minutes cooking time.

I will be coming; I'd have to be incapacitated in some way to miss this.

Will either cook something [vague enough for ya?] or bring green tamales and mole tamales from Tamales Garibay.

Thanks Cathy on the grill info - I'm sure I will be all set there (and I may just grill in advance since I'm so close and the meat is traditionally not served right off the grill anyway).

FYI, I will also be bringing Candy Cap Mushroom Cookies - probably incorporating oatmeal and pecans.

Potentially, your dish could still be there without you. :D

You can also keep it in the refrigerator once it is done, then use if over time.

    Sorry you cannot make it.

There seems to be a shortage of meat. I've never made sausage yet since attending the sausage making class. Perhaps I should give it a whirl and use the picnic attendees as my guinea pigs. :)

    Hi,

I have both of you on separate lines as one person (yourselves) each. Number of guests takes into account the community member as well as their guests.

If I came by myself, I would count as one guest. If I came with my sister, the count would be two reflecting my sister and I.

    Sorry if I was confusing!

I see where I got confused: There are "0"s on the list... but only when one person is bringing two things.

I am in the process of moving, and the 22nd is 6 days until the move. Though I'd like to believe I have the coolheadedness to bake brownies or something the night before, I will probably be in a corner screaming about what still needs to be packed and cleaned and schlepped.

So, since I can't really tell how much non-edible stuff and water is needed for a picnic this large, can someone steer me in the right direction? What would be a helpful donation in this regard? I am using a cooler as a box so I can't bring ice, but other than that...?

    Hi,

How about plastic tablecloths? It does mean you have to arrive early to help with setup. Does that work?

Hi Cathy - sorry for any confusion. Our party will basically be:

    Hellodali
    Swingbossa
    And two guests

Our contributions between the four of us will be:
    Homemade Ice Cream
    Za'atar bread
    Porch Swing Cocktail
    Caipirinhas
    Coconut macaroons
And a TBD from our other guest

    I hope that's helpful.
