    Great report Turkob. BA is high on my list of places to go.

    Allie's my cousin (my coolest relative, aside from any relatives reading LTHforum right now) and a food writer in BA (I think her blog is a great read, even if you're not planning a trip to Argentina). She also does food tours for anyone heading to BA in the future.

    Just got back from a trip to Buenos Aires and Rio. Didn't check this thread before I left, but can certainly provide a second endorsement for Parilla Pena, for anyone staying in Recoleta or south part of Palermo. There are better parillas in BA, but no better value. In addition to the aforementioned empanadas and steaks, I can also recommend a very creamy morcilla (blood sausage) and tasty mollejas (sweetbreads).
