I don't know if it's from Iltaco? I need to see a larger image of IlTaco's gyros product, but it doesn't seem to be a filo dough. The ones I had from Mr. Submarine are definitely a rolled filo dough. In one of those photos of mine you can see the rolling.

When I go back to Mr. Submarine during the day I'll ask whose product it is. The night time guy couldn't answer that when I asked.

FWIW, I also like their pastrami and they make a falafil sub which is kinda decent. You can't get a falafil anything within 4 minutes of a car drive of Mr. Submarine in Six Corners yet.

A couple years ago, while looking for Delta tamales at Happy Dog Avenue, I bought a gyros puff, an item new to me at the time. I think it might have been a different brand than the one you show.

The filling was absolutely vile. A second bite was out of the question. I still shudder when I think of that gyros puff.

Don't let the image on the box fool you, it probably uses a flakyish dough, similar to a pizza puff.
