A couple friends of mine have put together a bake sale to benefit the Share Our Strength (No Kid Hungry) charity. There is quite a lineup of desserts for sale. Here are the deets...

On Sunday, June 9th, we are hosting No Dessert Left Behind, a bake sale, or rather dessert event benefiting Share Our Strength's No Kid Hungry campaign. We are featuring desserts and pastries from 32 of the top pastry talent in the city (see full list below) and many talented home bakers. The event will be held on the 2nd floor of the Little Goat Diner on Randolph St from 10:00am to 3:00pm. Cash and credit cards accepted. Outdoor deck seating on the 2nd floor, along with a full bar will be available. Sweet and savory, pastries, pies, cookies, cakes, tarts, chocolate, macarons, tortes, brownies... so many desserts from so many pastry chefs, all under one roof. (Chefs will not be on-site, the event will be held in the style of a bake sale)

    Matt,

I was still observing dessert sabbatical when this event occurred. How did it go? Pics? Will this be an annual event?

I'm not sure if it is annual or every two years. This was the second one they've put on. It went very well thanks to the generosity of the pastry chefs, the boka group for lending the space in the little goat diner and the folks that planned the event.
