Have hardly heard anything about it, even though they serve several trendy items like ramen and takoyaki.

Been meaning to post--I took out from there last week.

Tonkotsu broth was oddly sweet and thin. Wondering what they used to make it cloudy since it didn't have the depth or flavor of long simmered bones. Ingredients were fine-- similar to Misoya-- corn, egg, decent pork. Noodles were pretty good--nicely springy though I thought the noodles at Santouka and Misoya had better texture and were more flavorful by themselves.

Also tried the mixed mushroom "skewer" which consisted of about an ounce of mushrooms in butter in a piece of foil--no clue how this would be served in the restaurant but if not conducive to take out, perhaps the server who took my order (I came in to order) might have mentioned it.

The place is owned by the guy who owns the Nori sushi spots--no clue where the story of the four friends comes from-- he told me a few things about the place while I was waiting for the food but never mentioned any partners.

Doubt I'll be back--too many better options, even if this spot is close and delivers.

I went last night. Sadly, the ramen doesn't deliver, the broth I had was very bland. The pork gummy.

The takoyaki and the grilled items were good enough, but not worth coming from outside the neighborhood.

They do serve silk worm pupae, though their preparation is a little bland.
