    Hi all,

I'm in desperate need of the LTH bump. I'm in Oslo for work for two weeks, staying at the Grand Hotel, which is in the city center. I thought that the Norwegian firm we are working with would be arranging for dinners and sort of showing us the city (which is what usually happens on this type of trip), but they are not. As such, I've been hastily doing research trying to generate a list of restaurants. If anyone has any recommendations, they would be greatly appreciated. No car, but I'd be willing to figure out the tram/subway system if there are can't miss dining options 10-15 minutes outside the city center. Thanks!

    Adam

Sorry I can't help with specific names of restaurants - it's been too long. However, if you get a chance, you might enjoy a dessert that features a taste of cloudberries, supposedly the only source of vitamin C available above the Arctic Circle. (That is, until 2025 or so, when a planned lemon orchard will be producing bumper crops along the Norwegian Riviera.)
Man : I can't understand how a poet like you can eat that stuff.
    T. S. Eliot: Ah, but you're not a poet.
