If anyone is interested in coming to any of my location shoots, we start tomorrow. There are some great joints and I'd love to have some like-minded, food-obsessed patrons to interview and film eating. And if anyone knows hows to eat sexily, it's us LTH'ers. Times vary immensely, but we usually start shooting 9:00ish at the first location and second location 2:00ish.

    Tuesday Feb 26th

Are you bringing Lorenzo on any of the shoots?

Also kudos to you on the South Beach Burger award!

Very understandable. For example, his adaptation of a couple of Saigon Sisters's recipes into a sort of larb banh mi, topped with a sweet and pungent pickled daikon/cucumber/carrot salad and sriracha mayo, is delicious - and the components, used separately, are equally delicious in other applications. Jeff does his homework, introduces the entire country to the cool Chicagoland places we know - and he shares the knowledge, but doesn't simply ape the recipes. I'm really glad he and the show have been so successful, and we should all be very proud of him. He's truly one of us.

    Sundevilpeg, Ronnie,

Thank you guys so much for your kind words. I put a lot of effort into my recipe and development and unlike some talent on the network, I write, test and eat, eat and eat every recipe I write.

I promise to keep it up and forever remain "one of us."

We started shooting season 5 yesterday (yesterday was Bistro Margot & Bar Toma)

I'm assuming you're going to the Pita Inn mothership in Skokie? If so, perhaps I'll have to drop in for a falafel sandwich and a small hummos, as I did weekly for about a dozen years when I worked in Skokie and my source for comic books was just down the street.
