A friend of mine of over 30 years, Sonny Raguso, has Polycystic Kidney Disease. Sonny is a chef and has been in the restaurant and catering business since the early 80’s. I thought I would post the information from the invitation for anyone who knows Sonny and may want to attend.

    Thanks,
    Al

Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD) affects around 12.5 million people worldwide. Sadly, one of those 12.5 million people is our dad, Sonny Raguso, who has suffered through the symptoms of PKD for many years. A few months ago, he had to begin dialysis while he awaits his turn for a “new” kidney. Unfortunately, this means that Sonny is unable to work because he has to spend several hours, 3 days a week, at dialysis. We are asking that while we wait the arrival of his new kidney you join us for a night of good food, friends, and plenty of jokes by, and at the expense of, our dad, Sal. It is sure to be a fun night and we hope to see you there!

    Hi,

Sorry about your friend's condition, I am pretty sure I do not know him. Where did he work? It might offer context and a connection for people who may know him and never realized it.

    Regards,
    Cathy2
