I had a crappy sausage/jerky gun years ago (had plastic Play-Dough pumper style nozzles on a crappy caulking-gun-style platform) that worked about once. This looks like it'll stand up to some abuse (although it's a one-off).

Jerky Shooters or Sausage Guns are an inexpensive way to fill casings quickly. The only problem is filling the gun.

It's got to beat using the KitchenAid mixer add-on: It's got a hopper with room for a few ounces of meat at a time, and you need to keep pushing it down with the plunger (hand 1), feed more in (hand 2), and keep moving the casing (hand 3).
