Hi all, I'm looking for brunch tomorrow around 11am. I want something foodie-friendly and adventurous, in the city, specifically anywhere north of Roosevelt Road--Gold Coast, River North, West Town, Lincoln Park, Boystown, Logan Square, etc. Anyone been somewhere fairly fabulous recently?

Longman & Eagle in Bucktown might fit the bill; adventurous, good quality fare. Jam in Logan Square is one of my favorite places for brunch; while the quality is very high and it has some interesting menu items, I am not sure it would qualify as adventurous though. If you are able to expand your perimeter a bit I would highly recommend Publican in the West Loop - that might be your best bet out of anywhere in the city.

Thanks Gonzo--great suggestions; I'll have to see if L&E takes reservations because I know I've waited a long time there in the past for dinner--not sure if they get a big line for brunch? West Loop is definitely in my perimeter; basically anything north of Roosevelt and west of Austin is ok with me.

Didn't have my coffee in me yet - so missed the Roosevelt border. Definitely take a good look at Publican then. They do accept reservations on Open Table. So far as I know Longman & Eagle does not accept reservations (but I find Publican to be a bit better anyways).
