It's January. The weather's crappy. A hearty warm lunch from Cho Jung will make you feel so much better.

Please join the LTH North Lunch Group for our January meeting. As always, bring a friend.

So close to my office -- I'll do my best to attend but I won't know if it's going to happen until the day before or the day of.

I had lunch here today and the soondubu was as great as ever. My wife ordered the dolsot bibimbop, which seemed to sizzle for a good 15 minutes after it hit the table. After that and a gentle mixing, it was a glorious array of flavors and textures that was immensely satisfying. I don't think I've ever had the bbb at Cho Jung before but I'll certainly be having it in the future.

I'm tentatively in, though like Ron I may have to make a game day call. But I'd sure like to get back here with y'all.

Just ran some errands and unfortunately the roads in my neighborhood are still too messy to venture out again. Nearly wiped out twice (in places I really should not have, car is well-equipped for the situation). My regrets for not being able to make it.

DARN! I completely forgot about this. Just remembered now, hours too late. Printed my map out yesterday and everything. Darn. Sorry.

An excellent meal in delightful company. There could hardly have been a more perfect choice on such a cold day as that hot, spicy kimchee stew. So warming, and so delicious. And now I feel caught up on food news, as well.

Looking forward to our next outing.

Great company and a fine lunch yesterday, even if it wasn't their absolute best showing. I thought the banchan were a bit tired and the pajeon were somewhat thick and flabby. Flavors were good but textures on both items were not as good as they usually are. I loved the broth in my soondubu jigae but for the first time I can ever remember at Cho Jung, there was no shrimp in the bowl. Still, it was a tasty lunch and an enjoyable get-together.

I thought it was just my bowl that got skipped. I had no shrimp, either. :? There did seem to be a few extra oysters, though.
