We just passed by Pulpo Loco this evening, and they announced comidas de cuaresma, special lent dishes. I asked them what they would be featuring, and they indicated:
tortitas de camaron -- shrimp cakes
    chiles rellenos
camarones con nopales -- shrimp with nopal cactus
I would suggest we try some if not all of these at lunch.

Sorry to miss out today. I'm sure I would have had a better time than I did getting oral surgery.

Where do we go next? The newest kids on the block are DMK Burger & Fish, and Lao Sze Chuan. However, I walked past LSC last night and they were packed; perhaps crowds may make seating our lunch group difficult. Don't know whether that's true of DMK or not.

We talked about going to Lao Sze Chuan on April 9. Tarte Tatin will be setting it up. If there are crowds, we can find a way to eliminate them. We have our ways ...
